Access

From the south mouth of the Vielha tunnel: large parking area near the former Vielha Hospital, now closed. Head due west, climbing towards the Mulleres Pass on the Aneto route. The refuge is located north of the Estany inferior de Mulleres. From the Rencluse refuge: via the Mulleres Pass (very steep descent), then scree. The refuge and its view of the western entrance of the Encantats are then visible.

Good to know

The former unstaffed refuge was replaced on 16 August 2011 by a new, much more comfortable refuge, the latest evolution of Spanish huts/bivouacs (type Enric Pujol, Broate).
