The Wiwannihütte is a privately run guarded mountain hut located in the Valais. It is managed by Regula and Egon Feller-Oester.

The most ecological way to travel is by train to Ausserberg. The hike to the hut takes about 4 hours from Ausserberg. With the taxibus you can go part of the way to the "Fuxtritt" (1851 m). This leaves you with only 1.5 hours of walking. Taxibus: Bustrans Ausserberg (079 214 51 55) or Taxi Zerzuben Visp (027 948 04 80). If you come by private car, please purchase an access permit for the forest road. It is available at one of the restaurants or at the automatic dispenser in the parking lot at the top of the village. This fee also includes parking at the "Fuxtritt".
Open from early June to mid-October. Meals prepared by the guardians. 1 dormitory with 20 beds, 1 other with 8 beds. Toilets next to the hut, no shower but a fountain with running water in front of the hut. Variable prices, contact the guardians. Languages spoken: French, English, German, Italian, Spanish.
