To reach the La Sapinière refuge, start from La Sarraz and take the road to Dizy. A few meters further, there is an intersection where you must take the Fey path. Continue along this path almost to the end, before the farm at the end, there is a path that branches off to the right and enters the woods. In the woods, do not descend towards the river, keep going straight ahead and the La Sapinière refuge will come into view.
- A river passes nearby, a 5-minute walk away. - A water collector is installed but is not maintained and is therefore unusable. - A stove is installed. - A table with three stools. - Various kitchen utensils. - Several tools such as: axe, machete, a ladder, broom, two gas lamps and an oil lamp, flashlight, a pair of binoculars. - A few blankets. - No mattresses. - During the visit, a squirrel was living there, causing some damage and droppings. - The shelter is well insulated. - Two large outdoor tables with benches (about 20 people). - A barbecue area with a wood-fired oven (pizza oven type). - Two large reserves of firewood.
