At the summit of Mont Ferion, at the end of the closed DFCI track leading up from Coaraze or Levens. It is located on the ground floor of the DFCI watchtower occupying the summit of Ferion.
Shelter left for the use of hikers. It is a small, well-insulated and locked shelter. However, it is quite small (about 10 square meters), so it is not suitable for proper sleeping, but it provides valuable shelter in case of a storm or late arrival. A guestbook in the great alpine tradition is available.
