The Saint-Michel de Ferion chapel is an unguarded hut located in the Alpes-Maritimes. It is publicly owned and is situated in the commune of Coaraze.

Via Levens and the Delaballe track via Balma de Caisson via Col du Travail and Baisse de Rosa, medium length, good path. Via Coaraze and the DFCI track, medium length, easy track. Via Duranus and the DFCI track and Col Saint-Michel, quite long, easy track.
Only the large porch can serve as shelter in the event of sudden thunderstorms, making it impossible to reach the summit of Ferion and the Vigie shelter. The place is magnificent with its cedars and chapel. A vast Templar commandery once stood here; the site is the setting for various legends and appearances of the Virgin according to ancient accounts. The chapel was built in 1938. In 1988, the DFCI Delaballe track reached it. There is an annual pilgrimage to Saint-Michel. Ferion is a mythical place for all Levensois. The view is exceptional.
