From Saint Jean la Rivière, a very beautiful paved mule track climbs up there, passing through various countryside areas and terraces, with a 700-metre elevation gain. Good access also from the Suquet d'Utelle via a good trail that climbs through the forest. You can even complete the circuit.
It is a very small rural chapel far from everything. It stands in the middle of the hamlet of Saint Pierre, which can only be reached after 2h30 of walking. Of course, you cannot sleep in the chapel, but you can take shelter there in case of sudden storms.
