The hut was built in 2010 to replace the former astronomers' refuge, destroyed by a storm in the 1980s. It has 1 table, benches and a large wooden sleeping platform (6 places) without mattresses but with a few blankets. There is no heating but the building is dry and well insulated. No water or wood nearby.
