Hostel ideally located for various multi-day treks in summer and winter, as well as for varied out-and-back hikes. On foot: via Col de Gialorgue (from Refuge Saint Dalmas le Selvage), via Pas du Lausson (Lac d'Allos refuge), Col de Sanguinière (Bayasse refuge) or Col de la Cayolle. Also from the Entraunes valley path. On foot, day hike starting points: Roche Grande summit, Cime de Pal, Sanguinière valley and Pointe Côte de l'Ane, Mont Pelas or the Lacs circuit. By car from Nice, head towards Guillaumes then Col de la Cayolle to Estenc (2h). By car from Barcelonnette towards Col de la Cayolle (1h).
Opening dates: Our closing periods for autumn 2018 and winter 2019: Closed from 28 October to 26 December (except for the weekend of 15 December when we will be open) Open 7/7 during the Christmas school holidays, starting 26 December. In January, we are open only on weekends (unless group of more than 8 people) February and March open 7/7 - Generous meals - Hot showers - Self-service kitchen (extra) - Accessible by car Languages spoken: French, English, German, Italian, Spanish.
