From the Peyre parking lot (end of the road leading to the Cirque de Cagateille), follow the trail marked in yellow towards Lac d'Arlet. After 800m of ascent (from the footbridge located below the parking lot), the cabin is located after the grassy lake, on the right, 50m from the trail along a stream.
It is actually just a stone wall against a rock providing shelter for 2 people, but the Lacarde cabin 30min away is much more comfortable. The roof is made of sheet metal pieces, the walls are stone, and heating is impossible.
