Starting from Aulus-les-Bains: follow the GR10 towards the Cascades d'Ars, then go up on the right bank. Above, on the flat area, an intersection (signpost at 1485 m) indicates the Étang de Guzet in 1 hour (GR10). Leave the GR10 to continue due south and go up the valley leading to the Port de Guillo. Stop before after passing 2 ponds. The cabin is located on the right bank after the Hille de l'étang.
