From the end parking lot of the track leading up to the cirque de Gérac: take the yellow-marked path heading towards the étangs de la Piède, de las Toues and de Réglisse. Two "delicate" sections on secured ledges equipped with chains, rungs and steps to cross the slabs.
Stone cabin with a gable roof, open all year round. Equipped with a table, benches and wooden sleeping platforms. 8 sleeping places on platforms with thin mattresses. 7 bunks but one on top counts as two. Inventory 07/2019: 7 blankets (08-2024), grill, cups, candle. A wood deposit, reserved for the cabin, is available at the end of the track, just before the first rocky scree passage. You can carry up 2 or 3 pieces that will dry in the cabin for the next users.
