Classic access: Catalonia, Val de Cardos, Tavascan, take the track straight to the terminus at Presa de Montalto, parking at the terminus is the starting point for the ascent to the hut: - Via the track blocked by a chain - Via a path accessible just before Pla de Boavi, a path marked with red and white stripes that climbs to the left before [->5283], this path offers a steeper variant higher up marked only in red, it passes near a beautiful waterfall. Other access routes: - From Tavascan, Graus (see [->5360]), via the picturesque village of Noarre and the Coll de Certascan 2568m at the foot of Pic de Certascan, descending to the vast Certascan Lake and the hut. - From Ariège, starting from Aulus-les-Bains via the Port du Guillo, the sublime Romedo Lakes and the Port de LLurri (the route to climb to Port de Guillo 2371m up to the Romedo Lakes has recently been marked in red as part of the Muntanyes del libertat trail project). - From [->5345], via the Coll de Sellente, Collada de Becero, Pla de Boavi, Bordes de Llurri. - From [->3942], via the Port de l'Artigue 2476m, Estany de Romedo de Baix, Estany de Romedo de Dalt, Port de Llurri.
