Semi-buried hut, beside the path leading up to the Port de Salau on the eastern side (France), well insulated, dry (only a small water infiltration on the left side of the floor under the bunk after heavy rain). From Salau: Continue south on the road, at the second bend (signpost), follow the track southwest to the location "Plagnau Long 1265m", cross the stream and continue on a good path that will cross a boxwood forest, then pass the summer pasture and the restored Cabane Pastorale de Pouilh, to arrive higher up at the hut beside the path (impossible to miss it). From Spain, Estarri d'Aneu, Isil and the Montgarri track: From the Fornet refuge, continue north on the track and take the right path that climbs to the Port de Salau. From the Pont de Perosa, confluence of the paths leading to the Port de la Pala de Clavera, Aula and Salau, take the wide track that climbs east to the Port de Salau. At the end of the track, a path continues south then makes a sweeping turn east to bypass the ridge and reach the Port de Salau. Upon reaching the Port de Salau, where the [->5619] is located, which can serve as a spare wheel, descend the French side 200m of elevation to reach the hut beside the path on the left, the chimney is visible first, the rest should be below.

Take precautions.
