Exactly at the col de Pailhères, on the edge of the D25 between Ax-les-Thermes and Mijanès.
Essentially intended as an emergency shelter for motorists caught in a storm at the pass. It can be useful in winter when the pass is closed. A large room with a concrete floor and a corner fireplace. An indoor and outdoor table, a large bench, and a sleeping platform. No water (except snow in winter) and firewood must be brought up from the valley.
