Going up the Rébenty valley, 4km after Méral, at the bend called Pont de la Rouby, take the forest track that runs along the Font d'Argent stream until a T-junction. Turn left for 500m. After the second waterfall, take a grassy forest path that descends to the left. After 50m, the cabin is downhill to the left.
Forest refuge. A large fireplace, 1 table, 2 benches. No dedicated sleeping places, but it is possible to sleep 4 on the cement floor (sometimes damp: mud traces are noted) by bringing thick sleeping mats, pushing the tables aside and sweeping (to be brought). Water can be found at the waterfall 100m uphill (flowed well in mid-July), or failing that, by following the forest track for 500m, the stream is permanent. Dry wood is available inside the refuge and abundantly around.
