When ascending to Le Buet, starting from Vallorcine or Passy. Between the emergency radio relay and the summit, on the edge of the south-east ridge, just before the final snowfield.
Basic shelter made of dry stone, suitable for a maximum of one to two people. You cannot stand upright inside. Bring mattresses. No water. According to some reports, this shelter acts as a Faraday cage during thunderstorms... Be aware that the shelter fills with snow in winter. It is an emergency and backup shelter, not waterproof (neither to water nor snow). However, it still provides some thermal insulation compared to the outside.
