From Sixt, take the road that climbs towards the Chalets des Fonts. Before reaching the chalets, take a path on the left that climbs through the forest to the hut, which is reached just after leaving the woods. The hut is only visible 5 minutes before arrival. Allow 3h30.
Large recent chalet completely rebuilt in 1984 after a fire caused by lightning (the former hut dated back to 1921). Guarded from late June to late September. A stopover to access the Buet but also an excellent hiking destination. Shower. Outside the guard period (October to May), a winter hut with a capacity of 10 places is available.
