The Ancien refuge du Goûter is an unmanned mountain hut located in the commune of Les Houches, in Haute-Savoie. It is publicly owned.

From the [->1047], which can be reached from Saint-Gervais-les-Bains via the Mont-Blanc tramway, follow the trail leading to the [->328]. Near the hut, climb the ridge and head towards the [->10584] and cross it (WARNING: deadly danger from permanent rockfalls!!). Climb the Aiguille du Goûter (cables) to reach the former hut, 5 hours' walk.
The hut was built and rebuilt several times since 1859. The last building, dating from 1960, was closed in 2013 with the opening of the [->335] to serve as an emergency refuge in case of fire. In early July 2026, the building was dismantled to be rebuilt in the thermal park of Saint-Gervais-les-Bains for heritage preservation purposes.
