You can access it year-round on foot, with snowshoes or on skis in winter.

Good to know

Unguarded refuge (remember to collect the keys before going up) but monitored. A deposit of 400 euros will be required when collecting the keys as well as signing a rental agreement. The deposit will be returned after the refuge's condition is checked by one of the refuge referents. Proof of civil liability insurance covering holiday accommodations will be required (your home insurance provider can supply this).
