The Baraque du Col Vert is an unguarded cabin managed by the Office national des forêts. It is located in the commune of Saint-Paul-de-Varces, in Isère.

Access

Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes from the parking lot at the end of the forest road coming from Prélenfrey. It starts as a wide path, barely passable by car, then after 20 minutes, a well-maintained small trail. There are several junctions; stay right. Access is also possible via Villard-de-Lans and Col Vert.

No water. It is very small and uncomfortable. There is a small stove for a small fire, a small bench and a small bench. Bivouac is possible nearby.
