Below the Pas de la Mine, next to Lac de Brouffier. Access is either from the road to Lac de Poursollet (the path starts at the bend where the military memorial is located, road closed in winter) (combe Oursière) heading towards Taillefer, and upon reaching the Brouffier ridge, turn towards the lake. Or from Alpe du Grand Serre via Le Louvet, ascending the torrent through combe Guiliman (2 h). The loop generally involves climbing to Taillefer before descending via Lac Fourchu, or vice versa.
THIS HUT IS NOW RESERVED FOR PASTORAL USE. Wood: collect it lower down, the forest is far away. Water: the lake, no spring. A mattress, a camp bed, and a fairly large floor area upstairs.
