From the Alpe du Grand-Serre stage lodge (formerly run by the STD), hike the GR 50. After a pleasant balcony walk, you arrive in the Prévourey valley where the hut is located. Less than one hour. Less than one hour also from the Brouffier hut (above, towards the lake of the same name). Ascent to Brouffier via the steep sections (Combe Guiliman) around the stream: more than one hour. Taillefer via the Pas de la Mine: 3 to 4 hours.
Hut renovated at the end of July 2026. Inside, a table, a new stove and up to 6 places on the second-floor floor. Outside, a table and a campfire site. A broom is available. No wood saw or axe for cutting wood. Water source nearby. Please take your waste down with you.
