Peripheral zone of the Écrins National Park, on the left bank of the Valjouffrey. On the Tour du Valbonnais-Beaumont trail; accessible from La Chalp or Les Faures, along trails or forest tracks. Small hiking paths pass by, with a signpost 'Cabane de Pré Clos. Alt. 1666 m.

Good to know

During the summer grazing period, a herd of cows is established around the cabin (mid-May to early June / October). The cabin is apparently not permanently inhabited during this period (shepherds come up a few days a week to check on the herd). There is some equipment for the herds. Inquire at Les Faures.
