From the village of Le Gleyzin: up to Cohard, then head northwest towards the [->47]: this is followed by a side trail on avalanche-prone slopes, to be avoided if there is snow. From the Col du Vay: for a connection with the [->46], it is located 300m below the pass. Via the [->8930] (Difficult trail, potentially dangerous if snow is present): for a connection with the [->58] or [->495], this technical path avoids descending back to Le Gleyzin. No water nearby, but the [->6018] may (sometimes, possibly, occasionally) be available ~180m below. General condition good, repaired wooden sleeping platforms, 4 recent foam mattresses + 2 used ones. Stove available but no wood nearby; bring your own. If wood is present on site, reserve it for emergencies. Gas stove. Broom, shovel, axe, saw. Good insulation. Very little equipment. The cabin is occasionally occupied by a shepherd in summer. Note: Unfortunately, like other unguarded cabins accessible from the Gleyzin valley, this cabin is regularly subject to vandalism (damage, sabotage) with no clear motive, for several years now.
