The refuge de la Pra is a staffed mountain hut located in the commune of Revel, in Isère. It is managed by Quentin Calvière and Stéphanie Lepki.

In summer, access is generally via Freydières following the GR trail in 2h30. The path is very well marked. Some hikers come from Chamrousse-Le Recoin. In winter, access is via the granges de Freydière (1131 m). From April onwards, the Pré Raymond car park (1372 m) is used. Access is also possible via les Seiglières and the cascades de l'Oursière in summer, as well as via Chamrousse and the lacs Robert. Public transport Trans'Isère to Chamrousse is available.
A century-old refuge entirely renovated and expanded in 2007. Staffed every day, usually from early June to mid-September (see the website). Reservations must be made on the refuge's website. Water is available from the nearby stream. For bivouacking, consult the dedicated page on the refuge's website: https://refugedelapra.ffcam.fr/bivouac.html. In winter or outside staffed periods, there are 18 beds with mattresses and blankets in one room. Tables and benches in two rooms. A separate toilet; be careful not to slam the door as you may get locked inside. No water, light or heating. Clean and spacious space. Cutlery and pots are available, but no gas. A fee of 8 euros per person must be sent to the manager (see the website). Reservations outside staffed periods are required since 2022: https://refugedelapra.ffcam.fr/reservation-hg.html.
