Coming from Gabas via D934, follow Lac de Fabrèges and turn left at its end towards Fabrèges, crossing a bridge (D431). A few hundred metres further on, cross a stream via two small bridges. Just after, there is a parking area on the left side of the road and a pylon on the right. A path starts a few dozen metres before the pylon and climbs into the forest. This is the path leading up the Lurien valley towards the col and the summit of Lurien. The hut is unmistakable. It can also be reached from the terminus of the Artouste small train by passing via Col du Lurien, or from [->4801] via Col d'Arrious, Lac d'Artouste, Col du Lurien.
Large hunters' hut. Mattresses and minimal furniture. It is not a refuge but can provide shelter in bad weather.
