By car From Pau take the N134 to Gan. Then take the D934 towards Laruns. Drive through Laruns and continue on the same road towards Col du Portalet. Leave Lac de Fabrèges on the left. Park 4 km after the lake, at the Caillou de Soques (a sign indicates an avalanche couloir). The hut is beside the road against a large rock By public transport (July-August only) From Pau train station, take bus 806 to Gourette (Transports64, +33 0 800 64 24 64) Get off at Laruns stop. Take bus 806bis to Col du Pourtalet (Transports64, +33 0 800 64 24 64) Get off at "Socques" stop. The hut is beside the road against a large rock
