From Laruns, take the D934 towards Col du Pourtalet. Either park at Soques and hike westbound on a trail with a 640 m elevation gain. It is preferable to start from the last parking area at l'Araille, just before the pass, climb Col de Soum and finish on a gentle slope to the refuge.
CAF hut. 50 beds in the main hut + 16 in the annex. 15 beds in the winter hut (no heating). Overnight stay €18.50. Languages spoken: French, English, German, Italian, Spanish.
