180 m south of the GR10 and the GRP Tour du Carlit and Tour des Pérics, off marked trails although there is a path passing in front of the cabin. The cabin is located among fir trees, at the foot of a small rocky outcrop but is easily visible from the bottom of the valley.
Cabin fully renovated recently, very comfortable, isolated as it is fully lined with wood, with a nearby water source. - Large table with two benches - Two-level sleeping platforms that can accommodate 6 mattresses - Some cutlery, candles, sponge, emergency blankets - Shovel without handle and broom - Clothesline, thermometer The two-part door that opens outward is located at the top of a three-step staircase but may become blocked by snow. It is secured by two latches, one of which is missing and the other is a bit stiff to unlock; a hiking pole can be very helpful to open the door. The door stays closed by default, no need to lock it when occupying the cabin, just remember to properly replace the latch when leaving. No Orange or Free network coverage.
