At the end of the forest road ascending from Bonvillard, where the tarmac ends, a large skidding yard forms a junction of tracks. On the southwest corner, a grassy terrace where the shelter stands.
Construction in masonry (cement). Window and door frames in good condition. Small sheltered awning with two picnic tables. Inside, two rooms are strictly bare, with no equipment whatsoever. Upper floor inaccessible (no ladder!). Can only serve as a makeshift shelter. A stove appeared in 2014.
