Access

From Grand Naves via les Darbeleys; or by following the Glaize valley (from La Grande Maison) along a small forest road branching off, at the bend marked 1111 m, from the D.93 road of Grand-Naves; note: the road is narrow, used by tractors and logging convoys and is not cleared of snow in winter. Just after crossing the Nant de Bouillet, a logging yard (point 1524 m) marks the spot from where you must descend towards the torrent via a barely visible trail; a metal footbridge connects both banks at a widening of the torrent (to the NW of the hut).

Good to know

Ideal starting point for hiking to the Col de la Louze. Very pleasant setting. Hut slightly tucked away in the valley bottom, on the left bank. -water 50 m north of the hut along a small stream (to be treated?), otherwise by drawing from the Glaize torrent, 200 m to the NW -a stove (with a wood reserve) -wood nearby, saw and axe -mattress + a few blankets -adequate insulation (hut renovated in 2007)
