Access from Bénétant (versant la Bâthie): about 1H30. Access from Le Planay (Arêches): about 2H. The shortest route, from La Ravoire (La Bâthie) takes one hour.
Kitchen area: stove (which has been replaced), wood, pots, cutlery, table and 3 benches, one of which is wobbly and placed on two logs. A broom, a shovel without a handle, two axes for splitting huge logs (the blade of the axes probably only cuts butter in summer: practice first!), a hatchet (handle wobbly). The sleeping area is vast, very vast, with a low ceiling: it is doubtful that the stove, located in a room without an intermediate upper level, can heat the available space of the two adjoining rooms, so plan accordingly. There are no mattresses as of 2021. GSM network (Orange): practically no signal, except very occasionally a fleeting signal allowing you to send a short text if necessary. You need to climb very high and far to get a proper signal. The water point is a nearby stream.
