Mountain hut located at the end of the Urtier valley (via Cogne valley), at the western foot of the Fenêtre de Champorcher, at Alpe Péradzà, on the Alta Via 2. The hut is on the Tour des Géants route. From Lillaz (at the end of the Cogne valley): - Follow the Alta Via No. 2 - Follow path No. 13 - Follow the long drivable track that goes up the Urtier valley, path No. 10. From the Champorcher valley (Mont Avic Regional Park): - Cross the Fenêtre de Champorcher, south of the Torre Ponton (not the Collet Pontonnet north of the Torre Ponton) and descend to the hut.
The hut is located at the foot of a high-voltage pylon that runs through the Fenêtre de Champorcher. Another high-voltage line runs through the Colle Pontonnet north of the aforementioned pass; the two lines join further west in the Urtier valley.
