From Meranges: you can continue by vehicle to a parking area above Girul, at the first bend of the road, then a track allows access to the Refuge de Malniu by road (paid terminal parking). A path, initially on the left bank of the torrent, leads to Pleta d'Engorgs without crossing the torrent. You continue climbing slightly to reach the cabin.
There is not much to expect from this cabin given the aerial photo taken from the balcony path coming from the Refuge de Malniu. You can see the quality of it if there was any doubt; it is better to go all the way to [->5525].
