From Estarri d'Aneu, Isil and the Montgarri track, at the level of the Pont de Marimanha: - Go up the track (150m) eastwards to an information panel Marimanha-Beret, climb south into a clearing where an indistinct trail heads southeast then south (a few switchbacks) through the forest. The trail then emerges into an alpine meadow, always on the right bank of the stream. After passing the point where the stream is deeply incised, you reach a flat area, cross the stream. The hut is on the left bank of the stream above the rise that dominates the site. From the col d'Airoto: - Cross northwards the col d'Airoto, descend north towards the Estanyons de Marimanha which you follow on the right bank. Descend following the small stream (dry in late summer) coming from the lakes. You will first reach a sheepfold which you skirt on the right bank. The descent then leads you into the alpine meadow. Continue descending, always on the right bank of the stream, until you spot the hut on the left before the stream enters a deeply incised area. Trail indistinct, a few cairns. From the lakes, the stream serves as a guide.
Interior equipment: - 1 table - 2 wooden planks resting on stone supports serving as sleeping platforms - Clean wooden floor (space for 1 mattress) Water: The stream water may be polluted by local livestock (a cow carcass was seen upstream along the stream in September 2016, take usual precautions ...) Firewood: Firewood can be found while crossing the Bois de Marimanha.
