From the Val d'Anniviers, Grimentz, drive up to the Moiry dam (post bus like everywhere in Switzerland!): Reach Col de Torrent at 2918 m, which overlooks the valley to the west, then follow the Prélet ridge southwards without difficulty until you come across the hut, unexpectedly hidden in a hollow on the ridge. From the Val d'Hérens, Evolène: Small parking area for the Via Ferrata at the exit of Evolène, on the left when ascending the valley, you can drive higher ... Reach Col de Torrent at 2918 m and then follow the ridge straight south.
Two tables, two benches and two chairs, as well as 6 mattresses, one blanket, a gas-free stove, pots and an alcohol melting device (small quantities of denatured alcohol available on site). The hut is somewhat hidden, perched on the ridge and tucked into a hollow.
