The Cabane des Ecoulaies is a privately-owned guarded mountain hut located in the Valais region, managed by Ms. Gaspoz Céline. It is open during the summer season.

Access is the same as for the [->1568]. Simply, just before arriving at La Barma, turn right OSO towards the Vallon des Ecoulaies; a path leads to the hut.
Private hut, primarily reserved for members of the Ski-Club d'Euseigne...but also welcomes other mountaineers subject to availability. Hence the need to book. Opened in 2008: from 15 June to 28 September. Note: this hut falls into an intermediate category between a guarded and an unguarded hut; you must therefore bring your own food (the guardian, when present, only sells drinks). Guarded only on weekends. 20 francs per night. New toilet facilities available. Wood and water. Further details (rates, etc.) are available on their website. The guardian only comes up during the summer season! From here, access is provided to the entire cirque surrounding the Glacier des Ecoulaies (from the Rosablanche to the Pte du Crêt or the Sale.)
