A forest road starts 750 m SE of Caychax, on the RD 20, and roughly heads north along the western slope of a ridge (Denladel) until it reaches the hut, where it ends.

Former pastoral hut, restored in the 1990s. The walls have been repainted. Minimalist comfort: fireplace, table, concrete sleeping platform without mattresses for 2, clean floor. Water sources: Taillades stream 100 m to the north. Alternatively, Appy lake stream 500 m to the southeast.
