On the access path to the Col des Nantets from Montremont (a few kilometers south of Thônes).
Once in a blue moon, this place is marked with an "unguarded refuge/shelter" pictogram, and has been for years, by a famous cartographer whose name I shall refrain from mentioning out of decency. I list this place on the site, but there is almost nothing: a totally closed and private chalet next to a small open shed used as a wood storage where space is limited. The small wood chalet remains accessible, but do not think about sleeping there; at best it could serve as a shelter in bad weather, and even then it is better not to be too many. The interest of the place probably comes more from the small fountain, very useful for refilling water, which flows next to the two chalets, on the edge of the path. Also note a metal shelter downhill from the two chalets, also totally closed. In short, not much of interest...
