On the little-used and poorly maintained path (sometimes hard to see) between the Larrieux refuge (30 minutes) and the Col de l'Eau (15 minutes). Access also from Crêt des Tervelles, a more frequented path.
Former chalet in ruins, with only a few walls still standing, covered in vegetation, and a water reserve (not drinkable). As an emergency shelter, there is still a small 2 m by 2 m space (the former cheese cellar), semi-buried and built of stone, which can provide emergency shelter. Unfortunately, it does not lock, but it is possible to sleep lying down (with no comfort other than being dry) for 2 people.
