Open from May 17 to September 15, 2024 inclusive. Running water (cut off in winter). Fontaine: Notre Dame de la Source, renovated in 1999. Note: it does not always flow. There is also a small pool in front of the refuge's entrance enclosure. Rates: - €49 for half board - €19 for overnight stay only No credit cards, payment by cheque or cash. Current status: - Cold shower - Half board: €43 per person - Dormitory with 19 beds (inaccessible outside the guardian period). - Norwegian bath on reservation: €30. - Potato fritters on reservation. Outside the guardian period: No dormitory is open when the refuge is not guarded. If you were to sleep there, bring a very good insulated sleeping mat as the floor is a freezing concrete slab in winter: you have been warned! The toilets (at least the men's side) remain accessible all year round in the building next to the main refuge. Often occupied by hunters outside the guardian period during the hunting season. Languages spoken: French, English, German, Italian, Spanish.
