Access

Starting from the Mont Cenis dam: descend on the Italian side to Bard Cenisio, shortly before take the track to the right to the place called Grange d'Arpon. From there, a marked trail climbs roughly west towards the Cime du Bard. The bivouac is located on a panoramic ridge reached after 2h30 of ascent.
