Access via Valpelline: from Moncorvé via Val de Verzignoletta, the refuge is just before Col d'Arpeyssaou (about 4 hours); or from Oyace via Val de Verdona, Tsa and Col d'Arpeyssaou (about 4 hours, the refuge is then just behind the pass).
Unguarded communal refuge open at all times. In very good condition, with mattresses, blankets, stove, gas, and water nearby. In 2005 the displayed rate was 6 E (honour system).
