Guarded mountain hut located in the Aosta Valley, run by the Società Guide del Cervino. It is situated on the right bank of the Dragon Lake.

From [->2503], head north up a steep ridge, then bear left to reach a valley where the Dragon Lake is located. The hut is on the right bank of the lake. From Valtournenche, the approach takes 5 to 6 hours.
Recent hut (1994) that I have not visited. A very comprehensive website with contacts, photos, etc., will provide the necessary information in French. The location of this hut will delight those who wish to explore the southern part of the Petites-Murailles, the Château des Dames, etc. Note: no winter room available.
