Pedestrian access only: the hut is at the crossroads of well-marked cairned hiking trails "Mare à Mare Nord", "Île Rousse - Corte", or coming from the Restonica via the Alzo plateau, etc. Allow approximately 3h30 of non-stop walking from Corte, 2h30 from Calacuccia, 2h from the Restonica.
Corsican Regional Nature Park hut outside the GR20, staffed during the season (usually from 15/05 to 31/09 or mid-October). Outside the season, only the common room (wood stove, gas plates) and dormitories are left freely accessible. Sanitary block with running water, hot showers, taps, toilets... Regulated rates (2018: 14€ in dormitory, 7€ p.p. outside, 11€ tent rental, see website "pnr-resa"). Breakfast/lunch/dinner at variable rates. Sale of grocery products and other local specialties. Communal dormitories for 34 people, mattress provided. Kitchen area/gas plates/tables and benches indoors and outdoors, a few utensils etc.
