We are located in the Hautes-Alpes (05) on the road to the Col du Lautaret, 90 minutes from Grenoble and 25 minutes from Serre Chevalier. In all cases, take the RN91 towards Col du Lautaret, which can be reached from the south via Briançon or from the north via Grenoble. From there, 3 options: - From Col du Lautaret, via the Crevasses trail with a slightly dizzying but easy passage, equipped and maintained with cables (2 hours, dogs not allowed). - Head towards the hamlet "Pied du Col", 2 km upstream from Villar-d'Arêne, pass the "Pas de l'âne" lodge to park at the end of the drivable track, then take the GR54 trail towards Plan de l'Alpe de Villar-d'Arêne (1 hour 30, dogs allowed). - From the village of Le Casset (Monêtier-les-Bains), take the GR54 trail towards Lac de la Douche/Col d'Arsine, pass the latter and descend to the chalet (3 hours in total, dogs not allowed).
- Running water - Hot showers and rooms with 2/3/4 and 6 beds - Half-board rate: 49 euros, child rate 25 euros, picnic option available - Guarded period: from early June to mid-September - Winter refuge at the nearby CAF refuge (250 m)
