The Refuge de l'Alpe de Villar-d'Arène is a guarded mountain hut located in the Hautes-Alpes. It is managed by the Club Alpin Français.

Access

From Villar d'Arène or Pied-du-Col, via the Pas d'Anna Falque, along the right bank of the Romanche (signposts and markings), or from the Col du Lautaret via the Sentier des Crevasses. Both routes meet at the 2055 m point on the long, gently sloping grassy terrace of pastures, where the two buildings (the old one in wood) of the Refuge are located. Allow 2 to 2.5 hours of walking.

Open in spring from mid-March to early May and in summer from early June to late September.
