From Villar d'Arène or Pied-du-Col, via the Pas d'Anna Falque, along the right bank of the Romanche (signposts and markings), or from the Col du Lautaret via the sentier des Crevasses. Both routes meet at the point marked 2055 m on the long, gently sloping grassy terrace of pastures, at the end of which you can see the group of buildings housing the two structures (the old one, made of wood) of the Refuge. Allow 2h/2h30.
The oldest building houses the 25 winter beds available. Blankets, cutlery and cooking pots are provided. The winter section is reportedly closed when the [->1547] refuge is open. Water source near the hut when there is no snow. Dry toilets have been installed near the hut and are open all year round.
