After Les Foyères, take the track then the trail that climbs via La Grande Thuile (marked "la tuile" on IGN maps) and winds through the forest to a junction indicating "montagne d'en haut or montagne d'en bas". From point 2198, follow the alpine pasture next to a marsh, then, with an unclear path, head straight into the forest for 50 m to rejoin the next alpine pasture, where this hut is located.
Minimal equipment: one table and two benches. The roof has a few vents but a floor suitable for laying several ground mats, though it is not intended for this purpose.
