From the Col de Basmont via the GR tour of La Lauzière, descend towards the Col de l'Arc des monts, des Foyeres, de Necudey. Arrive at the main village of Pussy: the hostel is opposite the church. By road, follow the direction towards the lower valley of Pussy, then the Col de la Madeleine. The hostel is at the entrance of the village, at the sign.
It is not quite a 'mountain hostel', but a 'Gîte de France holiday hostel'. Showers available. Rooms for 2, 3 or 4 people with duvets. Shared kitchen not accessible. Accessible by car. Rates: half-board for groups from 10 people at 39 euros per person (date 2010); individuals from 45 euros per night including meals and breakfast.
